Global Equestrian Group (GEG) is the world's leading company of a wide range of distinguished brands in the equestrian industry, including Helgstrand, Beerbaum, Riesenback International, Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, Kingsland, Helgstrand Jewellery and more.

To a newly established position, we now seek a European Sponsorship Director for the overall development, solicitation and execution of sponsorships, corporate partnerships, and activations for GEG's brands and events in Europe.

European Sponsorship Director

In this position you will engage and negotiate with top brands in the equestrian industry as well as top brands outside the industry to introduce them to the opportunities and sponsor offerings that equestrian sports present e.g.:

• official partnerships
• naming or presenting partner for events
• visibility
• networking and hospitality at events
• vendor setup and sales

You will team up with the peer sponsorship director in Wellington (Fl), USA. Together you are responsible for developing and aligning new sponsor products and attracting global partners especially in the luxury brand sector.

The position is preferably based at the Riesenbeck International showgrounds in Germany as this is currently our largest European venue and it is strategically well located in terms of other potentially incoming venues and activities in Europe.

You will report to the GEG's Commercial Director based at the headquarters in Denmark.

You probably hold a commercial degree on Master level. We expect you have at least 7 years of experience from a similar position in the sports and/or entertainment industry and thus obtained significant skills in...

• developing sponsor concepts
• attracting and negotiating with top brands
• negotiating with high level executives from major brands and companies

Global Equestrian Group

Global Equestrian Group was established in the beginning of 2021. Waterland Private Equity acquired the majority of shares of Helgstrand Dressage in 2018. In February 2021 German showjumper Ludger Beerbaum Stables was acquired and joined the group as co-owner. And in June 2021 Global Equestrian Group acquired Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) and the owners of PBIEC joined the group as new co-owners.
In the future the Group will have around 250 full-time employees. Global Equestrian Group has activities in dressage, show jumping and events, the jewellery company Helgstrand Jewellery and equestrian accessories and apparel company Kingsland, as well as other equestrian sports investments.
