Accounting Manager - Germany
Career opportunity for the ambitious accounting, as the first employee in our German branch of our European Financial Shared Service Center.
Global Equestrian Group (GEG) keeps expanding its activities in Germany. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced accountant, who is to service our German brands in close cooperation with the Danish colleagues in the European Financial Shared Service Center located at the GEG headquarters in the northern part of Denmark.
The position as Accounting Manager – Germany will have its base in Riesenbeck (close to Osnabrück and Münster) where our two major activities Beerbaum Stables and the show jumping venue, Riesenbeck International, is located. The position also covers two elite dressage sales stables: Helgstrand Dressage Germany in Syke and Outstanding Stables in Dülmen, run by renowned Swedish Olympic rider, Patrik Kittel.
Independent responsibility for the German parts of the accounting
With reference to the Head of Finance in Denmark (Aalborg area), you will work widely with accounting tasks within finance, accounts receivables, accounts payable, VAT, optimization of processes, assisting the Group Controller function and more.
Your specific tasks cover e.g.
- Accounting
- Reconciliation
- Recovery and debt collection
- Payment
- Tax and VAT
- Payroll-processes
In addition, various other tasks are covered by the team.
Committed, proactive and trustworthy accountant
You have a relevant education and at least 5 years of experience with accounting tasks, including:
- Experience with ERP system. We use BC-365, however, experience with that is not a prerequisite
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite at user level and Excel at super user level
- Knowledge of German finance legislation
You speak and write German and English at a high level.
